The company has recently invested in "second-generation" computer-to-plate, with a fully automatic Lotem 400 Quantum thermal platesetter from Kodak/Creo. The system runs 20 micron Staccato screening software, providing the very highest quality in photo imaging. Unmatched in the 4-up class, the Lotem 400 Quantum enables White Horse Press to produce up to 25 plates per hour. This provides the company with the additional plate throughput that it needs to feed its busy presses. Turnaround times are enhanced through the use of 4Print, which enables customers to create production-ready PDFs that will fly through the workflow.
