White Horse Press (Newbury) Limited is a technology led, customer focused, high-quality commercial print-based company. The business is located on the Hambridge Lane industrial area of Newbury, with premises that have recently been doubled in size to 17,000 square feet of floor area, and may soon expand further.
The business, which was acquired from the Kent-based White Horse Press Group in 2001, has exhibited excellent growth under the leadership of joint managing directors Steve Greener and Peter Arnel.
For the year ended July 2005 business increased by some 30%, taking company turnover close to the £5 million mark, making WHP one of the leading B2 commercial colour printers in the country. It entered the PrintWeek Top 500 list of UK printing companies in 2005 at number 402, putting it in the top 3% of print suppliers in the country. The listing also rated WHP as 12th in the country in terms of return on capital employed.
White Horse Press has forged strong customer relationships within the property, pharmaceutical and telecommunications industries, as well as the agency world, and has several "blue-chip" companies within its client base. The company produces work directly for end users and also for agencies, and fast turnaround is often a critical issue.
WHP has recently been nominated for the BPIF Awards 2006 in three separate categories - one of only two print companies to be involved in more than one award. |
